For the National Road Safety Foundation, we're again mounting National Passenger Safety Week to encourage passengers to speak up when in a car they feel is being driven unsafely. It could be a driver who is speeding or driving aggressively, distracted by texting or impaired by alcohol or drugs.
We got the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to designate the last week of January every year as National Passenger Safety Week -- this is the third year.
We're mounting a virtual TV tour, arranging zoom interviews with TV stations nationwide, using representatives of the National Road Safety Foundation and some of our partners in this effort.
