With my associate Jeanne Byington, we're getting good publicity on the winners of the 75th annual Christopher Awards.
One of the winners, Torrey Maldonado, is a middle school teacher in Brooklyn. He won his second Christopher Award for his latest young adult book "Hands," which talks to young people about controlling anger.
I met Torrey a few years ago, when I brought him for an interview on"Tiempo" on WABC-TV after he won his first Christopher Award.
I'm happy that I was able to book him on Cindy Hsu's morning show on WCBS-TV in New York, where he'll appear on May 2.
Felicidades, Torrey.
