    What's not right is lack of balance. Is one person really worth millions more than another person?

    The argument goes that individuals in management are responsible for income while reporters and editors are nothing but an expense. Businesses want to keep these as small as possible regardless of the health of the economy and especially now.

    Sad to say, there are so few options for journalists today and management knows this. Where will they go--to the Huffington Post where they will get $0.00 for every story?

    I’m not a journalist but I’ve worked at a few places where management wasn’t much better than what you describe. I never told a soul that my husband lost his job because I thought that they would reduce my pay if they knew. They only learned that he worked elsewhere when he got another job.
