    So once you have great content and you surface it in a relevant way for the consumer - what do you do from there? for ex. we're a product reviews site - we aggregate and organize about 8,000 reviews a day. So we have all this great content that's organized and pretty findable (could be a lot better), so what would a small startup like us do marketing wise

    (as we acquire more content we acquire more traffic through google, but how do you get the word out, etc. )

    Wow, Shammara -- great question but not one with a simple or short answer. Once you have the content, you've got to let people know you have it. That's publicity, which you might be able to do yourself or else hire a firm to help you with it. I'll do a separate post on it, which might at least help get you started. Keep watching...
