During my 21 years of writing newspaper columns and online posts -- my blogs are at and -- I figured out that most people could come up with a few good columns/posts. The really hard part (and where the talent kicks in) is coming up with quality stuff over time -- week after week, year after year. I think a lot of online bloggers are hitting that wall. In general, fewer posts of higher quality is preferable to numerous posts of lower value.

I agree with you, Bill. Less quantity but more quality is better than simply more. I do see some blog posts that seem to be just filling space. I try not to do that, and hopefully I'm succeeding.

    Thanks for the comment.

I loved the latest comment by you over there. Great post (as usual!)

Thank you so much for pinch hitting for me while we were on vacation. I knew you'd create a post that was thought-provoking and boy did you.

I appreciate your time and effort!

Drew, it was my pleasure. I've been thinking about this for a while, so I'm glad you gave the opportunity to express it to a wider audience than I reach with my own blog.
