In the aftermath, CK found some pictures her mother had saved for years -- photos her momma treasured of CK growing up. Our friend was kind enough to share a few with us yesterday, and she's asked us to share some old pix of ourselves. It's a nice way for us, who normally talk about the business of marketing, to learn a little about each other beyond our professional lives.
I don't have a scanner at home, so I won't be able to show you now pix of my childhood. I'll get to that another time. But I'll share two family pix I happen to have in the office. (You can click on these images to view them larger.) One CK asked me to share -- you guess which one.
First, here's a shot of me and Roz and our children Jennifer and Michael. This was taken up in Swampscott, Mass. in 1989. Eighteen years has turned my hair grey now, but I still have it all. Note the big curly hair on Roz. That was natural -- not a perm.
Jennifer, 31, is now mom to our fantastic 18-month old grandson Jack. They live outside of Brunswick, Maine, where Jen is a lay midwife and works part-time at a birthing center in Portland.
Michael, in his ever-present Superman costume, is now 26. He directs music videos out in Hollywood. Most notable are the videos he directed for Brazilian Girls and The 88. He still likes to dress up, but not as Superman anymore.

Here's a picture of me with my other family, just for fun. That's me, just to the left of my good friend Tony. This shot is more recent, as you can tell from my grey hair. But it's not too recent, because Big Pussy is still alive. (Poor Puss.)

That's all. Just thought I'd share because CK asked me to. Hope you like it. (I showed you mine, now you show me yours.)
