DAVID, THIS IS YOUR BEST YET AND AS TRUTHFUL AS THE DAY IS LONG! WE, ALL AMERICANS, MUST OBJECT, PROTEST AND DEFEAT TRUMP EVERY TIME HE LIES TO US, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, EVERY TIME HE TARNISHES AND LESSENS THE NAME OF THE UNITED STATES. THIS MUST END AND "NOW". HE HAS PROVEN THIS TIME, THAT IT IS TIME FOR HIM TO GO!!!!!

    Tom O'RourkeThanks for posting ttis

David you have once again expressed what many of us feel about this
poor excuse for a president. but(Normally I would capitalize President
but he does not earn it.)

Well said, David, bravo! Despite having clearly proven his shocking lack of qualifications for the job during his jaw-dropping pre-election campaign, Trump continues to stoop to new lows. I thought he hit the bottom of the barrel with his speech to impressionable adolescent boys during the Boy Scout Jamboree, but then came his horrifying threats to North Korea. And now Charlottesville. His impromptu "press conference" has sealed the deal with our Allies...he's now being denounced by leaders worldwide. I've given up hoping for positive action by his spineless GOP colleagues, with a few exceptions. And what's taking so long with the Russian investigation? If Trump really does own the country's "largest winery" located in Charlottesville??? (another "huge" take-away and gaff from that Trump Tower debacle), I feel a boycott coming on. Let's face it, we're in dire need of a Woodward-Bernstein clone to save the day.

    David Reich

@Judy ... I don't think a boycott of all businesses Trump will have much impact since the majority of his branded businesses are licensing or marketing arrangements. The winery in Virginia, according to reports I've read, has no direct connection to Trump anymore. He got his licensing money upfront. And he has so many business deals worldwide that it would be difficult to implement an effective boycott.

I think there has to be an uprising - from Congress and from the public - to make it clear this person is not capable of doing the job to which he unfortunately elected.

    Judith Trojan

I didn't hear him mention Heather Heyer's name, but he was able to squeeze in an irrelevant plug and lie about a Charlottesville winery that he is no longer tied to anymore? He touted it as the country's largest winery. I didn't buy that remark anyway. What universe does he inhabit?

    Jeanne Byington

With no proof he was quick to indict the Central Park 5 accused of a brutal rape and bought a full page ad in the Daily News to publicize his conclusion. The five back youths were eventually acquitted--just another example, along with the birther business, of his "waiting for the facts."

He is fomenting a second civil war, sawing the nation apart as fast as his little hands can, taking advantage of racial distrust and stirring it up. He is being driven by others who share his view, such as Steve Bannon who plays him like Billy Joel his piano. Headlines drive this person. By being an enfant terrible he gets them. Ohhing and Ahhing his every utterance is what he craves. Let's put him on a headline diet while better minds find out how to quietly, lawfully--the way the country should be run--remove this moth from the flame of fame that can potentially burn down the house.
