Here's a headline we couldn't have imagined only a few years ago... NBC Places 5th in Sweeps.
According to TV Week, NBC will finish with an average in the key adults 18-49 demo that places it not only behind its three main English-language rivals -- CBS, ABC and Fox -- but also behind Spanish-language broadcaster Univision.
Despite "The Voice" and what I consider quality shows like "Parenthood" and "Smash," the Peacock is getting shot down by silly comedies and procedurals on the other nets... and jiggly boobs and short skirts on Univision.
Of course, all the broadcast networks are having audience leave them for quality shows on premium and basic cable. TV is a whole different ballgame, and the latest numbers are proving it.
