    This is helpful information. I'm glad to see personal contact is preferred by journalists. Too many communications in business have become so impersonal.

    Nice post here. I like the fact that pesonal communication is still preferred but I am not surprised at the growing influence of Facebook, LinkedIn etc as more and more people I talk to are using them as a communication tool. In many cases, I have heard people speak of "facebooking each other" in lieu of emailing each other. Again, great information.

    Thanks for your thoughts, Shelly and Ryan. I still prefer email, since it's the most direct. With Facebook or LinkedIn, there's still one more step you have to go through.
